Hello, and welcome to my portfolio. I have more than 10 years of experience recording for professional purposes and have worked on award-winning commercials for Fortune 500 brands. I can do educational content, brand advertising, narration, and I love working with people and serving the goal to the best of my ability. Taking instruction and directly improvising are natural characteristics of mine and they serve me well working with clients doing voice work.

Through voice overs, leading a band, and teaching, my voice and my work with words have been my greatest tools. My work as an educator has included working with American teens from various parts of the country, English language instruction in Egypt and Thailand, and now, teaching Hip Hop history at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. After living in the Netherlands for more than a decade and having performed over 300 shows as the lead vocalist of The Soul Travelers, I have truly been exposed to so many of the world’s peoples and voices; something I cherish and a crucial part of the experience I bring to this work.

In addition to my extensive work with my voice, I’ve worked even more as a writer. My BA is in history and my MSc is in Anthropology, which both led to deep academic writing projects. I also led a high school Social Studies department for four years, wrote the lyrics for more than 12 albums, composed press releases, album reviews, and a great deal of web text for the different artists I’ve managed. Taking big ideas and making them attractively digestible is my specialty and I’ve done this in a multitude of ways for a plethora of audiences. This experience guides me in translating your ideas into excellent copy in addition to doing the voice work.

I would love to visit you in the studio wherever that may be and, if not, I can record high quality audio in my home studio. Naturally, we can work live together or over distance through digital communication.
